SURPRISE...
So after playing my mom for the previous two weeks that we were all too busy to hang out with her on her 65th birthday, she finally showed up at Piccano's restaurant to a room full of family. I have to say that I a still bummed I lost a $20 bet to Julia that my mom would cry once she walked int he door. She didn't...Not quite what I expected, but the evening went off without a hitch.
While the kids played rock-paper-scissors waiting for cake, Matt decided he couldn't wait any longer for mom to open her presents.
