March 19th is a special day in the Capler family. In 1920 Mary Jane Guiles, later to be known by many as bride to William Hank Capler, mom to nine, gGrandma Capler to too many to count and "tiny" by others, was born. Twenty-seven years later my Grandma Capler, God rest her soul, shared her birthday with her first son William "Uncle Bill" Capler. Fifty-one years later she shared her birthday one again with her first great grand daughter, Julia Grace Riker. Unfortunately she was taken from us before she ever was able to meet Julia and she is still so very missed today.
Me as always in the festive spirit...I wait all year to eat the best corned beef ever and boy is it worth it.
