Well for our house, the chickens came first and the eggs are soon to follow. Easter 2010 Tricia helped us pick out two cute chicks to bring home. They have grown so big so fast. Bailey and Brody named the chicks Gabriella and Sarah. We have had them inside while it gets chilly in the evening, but soon they will have their own little place nestled in our back yard. Brian and Bailey have been planning the chicken coup. Hopefully in a few months (probably longer) we will start to get fresh eggs. That’s the goal. The kids have been really good about taking care of them. Easter morning Bailey wanted to check on the chicks before even looking for her Easter basket. Dedication, that’s my girl!
