Fantastic Fahnestock 4....an update

I know it has been quite a while and for that I am sorry so hopefully this will catch some of you out of towners up to date with all the fun things we have been up to this summer.

Thanks to a great suggestion from Uncle Kevin and Aunt Liz, we spent one afternoon amongst real Mighty Machines.  Brody was in heaven, and Bailey had a ton of fun too.
My future Hero
I wouldn't let her get in the back of the cop car...so on top of the bike would have to do.
Hopefully he wont follow in his father's footsteps.  Yup Brian tried to be a garbage man back in the day, but only lasted a month.
She looks a little too happy holding that gun.  If only pa could see her now.  The real GI Jane.

Father's day was perfect.  A nice breakfast and then a great walk in town.
What a great dada.

A few years back I noticed my nieces were growing up too fast so for their birthdays I thought it would be better to spend a little time with them.  Anna and I have started a tradition of hanging out every July 12th (or convenient date around then) girly style.  Nothing beats comet burgers and pedicures.  I can't believe Anna B is 10 already.  What a great young lady she has grown to be.

LEMONADE & BACON FOR SALE...yup you read that right.  Bailey was too excited when we decided to have a garage sale.  While she was making her sign she literally said "everyone loves lemonade and everyone loves bacon, why not sell them together?"  She sold out before noon.  Brody may have been her partner, but he was also sneaking strips every chance he got.

"And the bombs bursting in air" - HAPPY 4th!
***Casa d'Platz (Lake Oakland)***
Jo Jo enjoying a boat ride with her daddy.
Aunt Ritchie loving the fun in the sun.
**Casa d'Valls (Ortonville)***
Brody and Carson fished all day from dawn to dusk
When they weren't fishing they were jumping to their little hearts content.
It was a wonderful family friendly weekend for all.
The sparklers brought out the kid in all of us but especially Jimmy.
Watching the fireworks off the lake.

The Oakland County Fair had more than rides and animals this year...Come one come all to see MONSTER TRUCKS.
Brody is officially known for his "fist pump"
Reptoid was our favorite and the Marlingas were cheering for the American Thunder.
Paige was having more fun than she looks in this picture.

Happy birthday to Bailey.  My little girl turned 7 while we were vacationing on Burt Lake with the Capler Clan.  After all of Vivios sang to her, she enjoyed a sundae with a flaming marshmellow on top.  It must be an upnorth thing.
Stay tuned for more Capler upnorth adventure photos soon to post.

Yes it is official, Bailey has grown into the sleepover realm.
6 girls...pizza...crafts...dance party...movie and cake later we have a sleep over.
They made it all night with out any issue.  The girls were all great.  BFFs forever!
